About
I have a background in publishing and language learning and previously held roles as a Commissioning Editor at Macmillan Education and as a Learning Designer for the UK Cabinet Office. I hold a Master’s degree in Digital Education from the University of Edinburgh and am working towards a diploma in UX Design. My special interests include the study of digital inequalities and game-based learning in language education.
I take on solo projects or works with a team of freelance authors, editors, designers and developers to deliver larger digital projects for publishers, universities and other course providers.
I am based in Galway, in the west of Ireland.
Putting learners first
My mission is to provide accessible, high-quality educational products that empower individuals to excel in a rapidly evolving world.
My motto is ‘Putting learners first’ and I follow user-centred design principles to keep learners at the heart of everything I do.
Giving back
As a small business, I want to make a positive difference to my community so I have joined the Pledge 1% movement to donate time and profits to education charities at home and abroad.
Keep an eye on my blog to find out more about how I’m giving back.
